ABOUT DANIELA CAPISTRANO
Located in the Propeller building in the Broadmoor neighborhood of New Orleans, RAPJAB has strategically expanded as a local NOLA business over the past four years. At the end of 2012, the RAPJAB team was 2 strong; today the team has 6 full time employees, which now includes Daniela Capistrano. Through her work as Communications Strategist, Capistrano is now advising and executing on data-driven client projects and RAPJAB’s own branding and digital strategy.
RAPJAB co-founder James Braendel views Capistrano as a boon for the organization. “Daniela is a unique combination of skills and experiences,” said Braendel. “Her background as producer and strategist with companies such as MTV Networks – as well as her experience running her own boutique agency for five years –lends itself to a range of internal and client needs. Most importantly, her work speaks for itself and our clients are very pleased with what she’s been able to achieve in just a few short months.”
Daniela Capistrano, who joined RAPJAB in April of 2016, appreciates collaborating with a local business like RAPJAB that is helping other New Orleans businesses thrive. “I do enjoy working on our national and international accounts, but it means more to me when I can see - in person - how our work impacts the local economy in positive ways,” said Capistrano. “I’ve been active in the #NOLATECH community since I moved to New Orleans in 2013, and it’s been exciting to watch all the strides being made by local entrepreneurs and artists. I see RAPJAB as being part of these communities and would love to work with more local startups.”
BRILLIANT, BEAUTIFUL BRANDING.
Dedicated to the art of engagement, RAPJAB is a full-service marketing agency headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since 2012, RAPJAB has supported over 100 client-partners by specializing in Integrated Advertising Campaigns, Print / Video Production, Social Media Foundation and Implementation, Web and App Development, Event Planning and Marketing, Public Relations, Search Engine Optimization, Competition Analysis, and E-Commerce.
RAPJAB was instrumental in Parkway Bakery and Tavern recently being awarded “Best Po’ Boy in Louisiana” in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice competition and is proud to be Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré’s – New Orleans’ most historic playhouse - marketing partner.
The company added 12 new clients in the past year, including projects for Friday’s International. RAPJAB’s expertise in integrated advertising campaigns, print and video production, digital and social marketing strategy, event planning and marketing, e-commerce, and more has powered their expansion.
RAPJAB continues to organize local events that generate referrals while bringing people together. A recent example is RAPJAB’s inaugural Fly Fest event #FlyFest2016 held at the Fly on May 14, 2016. With over 1000 people in attendance to enjoy free crawfish, drinks, a cocktail competition, and an epic water balloon dodgeball tournament, RAPJAB’s annual festival billed as a “free community event” is sure to hit the sweet spot between Jazz Fest and Bayou Boogaloo in the coming years.
“You can get marketing services from any agency in town–what keeps us in business is both our collective skills and experiences and that we’re a fun group to work with,” Richard Alexander Pomes, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer revealed. “Fly Fest is a community event, but like all the other events we host, it’s imbued with RAPJAB’s own culture that centers quality of life and real connections. We treat our clients like friends and go above and beyond to make each process as effective and painless as possible. And because we’re a homegrown agency ourselves, we’re deeply invested in supporting local businesses and being an integral part of economic development in the South–even as we take on out of state and international clients. Our growth is definitely strategic and as we expand we’ll continue to be fueled by curiosity, perseverance, and good manners.”
